Where is your clinic located?
Our inviting new clinic is conveniently located at 1572 Haig Blvd, just a tiny bit west of the Dixie Outlet Mall, in Mississauga, as shown on the map on the right.
How long are the treatments?
Treatments are 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes in duration. Talk to your therapist to see which time is most suitable for you.
Will my insurance cover Massage Therapy?
Most insurance companies assist with, or cover the cost of massage therapy. Check with your independent health insurance provider, or human resources department for details.
Do I pay up front for the treatment?
Yes, this is due to the increasing prevalence of insurance fraud. After the treatment, you will be issued a receipt with your Massage Therapist’s registration number on it. This receipt is what you will send in to your insurance company to get reimbursed. Insurance companies usually issue payment in a time span of two weeks.
Do I have to remove my clothing for the treatment?
Remove only the amount of clothing you are comfortable with. During the treatment you will be discreetly draped with a sheet, so that only the area being treated will be uncovered at any given time. It is also possible to be treated over top of the clothing. Your therapist will conscientiously respect your privacy at all times.
Do you treat children?
Yes. Anyone under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian consent to the treatment and sign a consent form.
Can I have a massage if I am pregnant?
Yes. Massage Therapy is extremely beneficial during pregnancy. As a Health Care Professional, your therapist is fully trained to understand the physiology of pregnancy and the appropriate modifications needed during each trimester.
How much experience does my Massage Therapist have?
Lorraine Allard graduated as a Massage Therapist from Kikkawa College in 2001. She has enjoyed working in a variety of clinical settings over the years. She has enriched her experience by working along side an orthopedic surgeon in a rehabilitation clinic, as well as working with chiropractors and physiotherapists in motor vehicle accident rehabilitation and wellness clinics.
Do you have a Cancellation policy?
Yes, we require 24 hrs of minimum notice for appointment cancellation, otherwise you will be charged the full amount of your reserved treatment.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Have your valid credit card ready when you call 416.949.7900, and just let us know the amount that you would like to give as a gift, the name of the recipient, their address, and we’ll look after the rest. We’ll mail their gift certificate to them within one business day, in an attractive little envelope, as a surprise gift from you. Let us know if you’d like them to know if it was from you, or if you’d like to make it anonymous instead. What a great gift!
